Class Levels 

Level 1: Beginner level or for those preferring a gentler practice. All ability levels are welcome. Modifications are made as needed. 

Level 2: Moderate level yoga suitable for students with some experience and for those comfortable moving from floor to standing postures multiple times. Modifications are offered, and classes are focused on foundation, alignment and breath. 

Level 1-2: Classes that accommodate both level 1 and level 2 students. 

Classes

Basic/Beginner: This specialty class introduces and combines sequencing and detailed alignment to access a chosen posture. A “how to” access and step by step description to understand yoga postures from the inside out. This all levels class will help you gain a deeper understanding of how postures can affect us physically, mentally and energetically. Emphasis is placed on your understanding, safety and stability within each pose. For anyone looking to access and refine their practice through movement, breath and meditation. Level 1-2 

Lunchtime Slow Flow: Slow Flow is designed to awaken your soul while also challenging your body. In this slow flow inspired class, you can expect strong poses, long holds and thoughtfully slow transitions. Each class will include intentional breath work and soulful guidance to help you go beyond the mind and come alive within. Fundamentals of flow and alignment will be introduced and guided throughout the class. Level 1-2 

Sunset Yin: In the nurturing environment of the great outdoors, you will be guided in and out of a series of specific Yin postures. Yin is a relaxing yoga practice that focuses on stretching and opening up the body’s connective tissue to increase mobility and flexibility. This class uses no muscle, and poses are held for several minutes at a time. Yin is an ideal way to bring balance and harmony into a stressful, busy life. Level 1-2 

Yin Flow: This all levels class combines the qualities of a Flow Yoga sequence with the calming benefitis of a Yin practice while enjoying the outdoors on the riverfront. The practice begins with a slow flow and intentional sequences of poses to build strength, stability, and courage with standing postures, floor work, and breath linked to movement, then transitions to stillness as passive postures with longer holds are introduced. These longer-held psoes focus on opening up the body's onnective tissue to create mobility and flexibility in the body and tranquility in the mind. All Levels.

Gentle Yoga with Meditation: This yoga class will incorporate gentle stretching interspersed with meditation and positive affirmations. Level 1

Basic: Get rooted in your practice, building from the foundation up. Whether you’re just stepping into your yoga journey or you’re an experienced yogi looking to build a stronger foundation for your practice, Basic is the perfect class for you. Get a better understanding of the traditional poses and their purpose, optimal and safe body alignment, how to link breath to movement, and the principles and history of yoga. Although this class moves at a slower pace, expect to be challenged both mentally and physically. Level 1-2 

Yoga Nidra: Yoga nidra involves slowing down and chilling out. In Yoga nidra, you are lying down and the goal is to move into a deep state of conscious awareness sleep, which is a deeper state of relaxation with awareness. This state involves moving from consciousness while awake to dreaming and then to not-dreaming while remaining awake — going past the unconscious to the conscious. A 30 minute flow begins the class with a 60 minute meditation/nidra. All Levels.
